Lady Blackmore is a five-year-old mare trained by Alastair Ralph near Bridgnorth. Purchased at the Tattersalls Cheltenham November Sale in 2025, she has now completed three novice hurdles and has shown clear improvement with each run. She has been awarded an opening handicap mark of 81, and Alastair believes she will benefit from stepping up in distance as she strengthens and develops. After a summer break, the plan is to return in novice handicap hurdles when conditions soften, with longer-distance chasing the longer-term objective. Her pedigree has also received a major boost through Jango Baie, who is closely related through Lady Blackmore’s second dam. Jango Baie finished runner-up in the 2026 Cheltenham Gold Cup before going one better at Aintree, winning the Grade 1 Racing Welfare Bowl by 16 lengths. Lady Blackmore is offered through a six-share full ownership syndicate managed by BHA-licensed Dynasty Racing, with both full and half-share options available until the current syndicate agreement expires on 20 November 2027.
