Kiniro is a talented four-year-old bay gelding by Group 1-winning sire Havana Gold out of the Gold Away mare Indignant. A proven six-furlong performer with two wins and multiple placed efforts already to his name, he combines established racecourse ability with the opportunity for new owners to follow an active sprint campaign with Dan Horsford. Kiniro recorded his first victory at Lingfield in January 2025, overcoming a troubled start before finishing strongly to win his six-furlong maiden. He returned to the same course in October and produced another impressive performance, this time landing a six-furlong handicap by 1¾ lengths under Oisin Murphy as the 7/4 favourite. That victory led to Kiniro being purchased for 40,000gns by Dan Horsford at the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale. He subsequently joined Horsford's progressive Sharpridge operation and now races for the partnership of Osman Racing and RHM Horses Ltd. His early campaign for his new connections included competitive handicaps at Chester and York before a particularly encouraging performance at Newbury in June 2026. Ridden by Oisin Murphy, Kiniro finished a strong second in a Class 4 six-furlong handicap, beaten just two lengths by Wild Clary off a mark of 79. He subsequently contested another competitive Class 4 sprint at Windsor and remains rated 79. With two wins, numerous placed efforts and experience at tracks including Ascot, York, Chester, Newbury, Kempton and Lingfield, Kiniro offers owners the chance to become involved with an established racehorse who is already capable of competing in valuable sprint handicaps.
