THE HORSE – LOWCOUNTRY

LOWCOUNTRY is a homebred for Tom & Alex Ward, by Group 1-winning sprinter Mayson and out of the Mehmas mare Moonshiner, who was trained at the same yard and won as a three-year-old. He is a horse with strong connections to the stable and an ideal candidate to follow from the very start of his career.

THE TRAINER – TOM WARD

LOWCOUNTRY is trained by Tom Ward, based at Whitehouse Stables in Lambourn, one of the UK’s most respected training centres. Tom Ward is widely recognised for his hands-on approach, clear communication and patient development of young horses. Subscribers benefit directly from his insight through regular stable updates and commentary on the horse’s progress.
