About Silverhill Freya
Silverhill Freya is a striking 2022 grey filly by Beaumec De Houelle out of Playa Du Charmil, by Saint des Saints. She is trained by Tom Lacey and brings together eye-catching looks, a deep French National Hunt pedigree and the potential to improve when campaigned over a more suitable trip.
Freya has already gained valuable experience in Ireland, running twice in 3-mile point-to-points. After pulling up on debut, she finished 5th at Lisronagh on her second start, travelling strongly before fading late. Emris Racing’s view is that the 3-mile point-to-point trip was likely too far at this stage, and that her pedigree points towards speed, class and progression over shorter National Hunt distances.
