Hellcat is a sharp, athletic three-year-old chestnut filly by July Cup winner Mayson out of the Kodiac mare Vixen. Bred with speed on both sides of her pedigree, she is already an experienced racehorse with placed form over both five and six furlongs. She has finished third on three occasions during her eight career starts, including a promising effort at Wolverhampton for Vesper Solis Racing in May 2026. Despite losing ground shortly after the start, Hellcat made up ground from the rear before finishing third over six furlongs, demonstrating the pace and attitude that give Ross Burdon and his team something to build on. Racing Post Now in training with Ross in Newmarket, the focus is on continuing to develop her confidence, consistency and racecraft while identifying the conditions and race setups that allow her to show her best.
