Sweet Lord is a three-year-old French-bred chestnut gelding by Victor Ludorum out of the Toronado mare Moisson Du Ciel. Now with Billy Aprahamian at The Gallops near Towcester, he joins Jolly Good Fun Racing Club with experience on the Flat and over hurdles, and a juvenile-hurdle campaign ahead of him. He began his racing career with Ralph Beckett, making five appearances on the Flat as a two-year-old. His best finishing position came in a seven-furlong nursery at Leicester, where he rallied into fourth and finished four lengths behind the winner. Those early runs gave him experience at a variety of British racecourses before his attention turned to jumping. Sweet Lord subsequently gained his first experience over hurdles in France, completing races at La Teste and Auteuil in spring 2026 and finishing sixth on both occasions. He therefore comes to Billy with some jumping experience already behind him, although he remains at an early stage of his National Hunt career
