Square du Roule is a tough and progressive French-bred staying hurdler in training with Nigel Hawke. By It’s Gino, who finished third in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, he has matured into a consistent racehorse and found improvement as he has stepped up in distance. He followed his first Exeter victory in November 2025 with wins at Wincanton and Exeter in April 2026. His latest success came over 2m7f at Exeter on 17 April, where he was held up before making progress approaching three out and staying on strongly to win by three-quarters of a length. Now rated 100 and having finished in the prize money 12 times from 14 runs for the syndicate, Square du Roule gives owners the opportunity to follow a proven and improving National Hunt performer.
