Kayleigh is a lightly raced six-year-old grey mare by Jukebox Jury, trained by Rob Stephens at Castle Farm near Chepstow. With fourth-place finishes in both her starts in Class 2 mares’ bumpers, she has shown promise at the beginning of a career that her connections believe will come into its own over obstacles and longer distances. She made her debut at Uttoxeter in March 2025, finishing fourth of twelve after staying on from the rear. Returning at Newbury in February 2026 for Rob Stephens, she again finished fourth, this time in an eight-runner Class 2 contest. Both races were around two miles, and the team believe a greater test of stamina will suit her as she develops. Her pedigree offers plenty of interest for National Hunt enthusiasts. Sire Jukebox Jury has produced top-level jumpers including Il Etait Temps, Bambino Fever and Honesty Policy. Through her dam, the Flemensfirth mare Lilly Of The Moor, Kayleigh also comes from the family of Master Oats, winner of the Welsh National in 1994 and the Cheltenham Gold Cup the following spring. Rob has given Kayleigh time to mature, with novice hurdles the next stage of her development and staying chases the longer-term objective. For a mare based close to Chepstow, the connections’ ambition of developing her into a future Welsh Grand National runner adds a particularly appealing local story. That remains an aspiration dependent on her progress, rather than a confirmed race target. Offered through Dynasty Racing, Kayleigh gives owners the opportunity to follow a lightly raced mare through the next stage of her National Hunt career within a small ownership group.
